Summer in the Hudson Valley Part II

Summer in the Hudson Valley Part II

The weather upstate has been beautiful this summer and we have been enjoying the sunshine and fresh country air.

The Ashokan Reservoir is one our favorite spots. It provides New York City with approximately 40% of its drinking water.

The running path at the Ashokan Reservoir.

One of our favorite views.

We often spot deer near this pond.
A serene spot for a row in a canoe.
Kingston's historic waterfront is also known as The Roundout.
A vintage trolley runs near the waterfront. There are also so many restaurants and quaint shops to explore.
We are a huge fan of these cows near the train station in Dutchess County.
Finally, we are also so fond of the neighbor's cows. So much personality!

  • Another lovely post, from the summer, living and enjoying life in the Hudson Valley. Wow, everyone must be rich there and artsy.
