FALL STYLE WITH PERMELE ROBINSON

FALL STYLE WITH PERMELE ROBINSON

This week on Wynne's World, we ask Permele Robinson, chic new mother and co-founder of Billion Dollar Boy, a creative agency for the influencer age, to share her fall style tips with us.
Heidi: What will you be wearing this fall season?

Permele: I have been living a very casual life with a baby and remote work in Millbrook, NY so far this fall. Here, I am usually wearing sweaters and pants with scarves and flats. The best version is my AG pants and my favorite Ralph Lauren American flag sweater or Heidi Wynne Fisherman Crewneck. As a nod to my former NYC life (and to maintain some style!) I throw on my Gucci Jackie 1961 shoulder bag or red Gucci Horsebit loafers. I am very brand loyal to them, especially since they made Sienna Miller a face!

I am returning to New Orleans this week where I will go back to wearing Sea NY, La Ligne and A Piece Apart dresses with Rachel Comey or Angela Caputi earrings and Le Monde Beryl flats. I will be carrying my favorite Heidi Wynne Millbrook Tote which can fit my laptop, mask and maybe a baby toy or two!

Heidi: Could you please share with us your fall makeup, fragrance, and skin care favorites with us?

Permele: I have really simplified my beauty regime during a slower social year. I am also trying to go more clean. My go-tos everyday are Saie Mascara, Saie Sun Melt (gives best little lasting summer glow) as well as my favorite client, NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and Orgasm Blush. If I do wear a lip color, its usually is the Hermès Rosy Lip Enhancer in Rose Tan. My fragrance is Frédéric Malle Eau De Magnolia Parfum.

Heidi: Do you have any fall travel plans or local plans?

Permele: Our weekend morning routine in Millbrook is to go into town and get a coffee at Babettes and walk up and down Franklin avenue. We meet everyone at Babettes! Especially with a baby. Then a treat is to visit the new incredibly chic garden store Orangerie, and Creel & Gow. They are a very welcome new addition to Millbrook.

Scorpio season brings birthdays! So I am looking forward to celebrating mine at the newly opened chic hotel in New Orleans, Hotel Saint Vincent. Garner (Permele's husband) is throwing me a little lunch on their terrace overlooking their courtyard and pool.

Heidi: What are you watching and reading during this fall season?

Permele: Succession of course! Another entertaining show to make us fall in love with New York again is Only Murders in the Building. It was filmed at my good friend’s building, The Belnord, which is one of the most unique buildings in New York on West 86th.

I have already reserved my copy of New Orleans friend and ex-Hearst powerhouse Deb Shriver’s new book A French Leave at Faulkner House Books. It was released this week and is a photographic chronicle from New Orleans to Paris. She is an incredibly talented writer and photographer and such a fun neighbor to have in the French Quarter.

Heidi: What is your favorite fall drink?

Permele: Oat milk lattes for the win!
