A DAY IN CONNECTICUT FOR TRADE SECRETS

A DAY IN CONNECTICUT FOR TRADE SECRETS

We had a wonderful time last weekend attending Trade Secrets in Little Falls, Connecticut. The garden tours benefit Project Sage which is a non-profit domestic violence agency. I've been reading more about Project Sage here, and it feels good to know that proceeds from the event support this worthy cause and the important work that they do.

It was a rainy Saturday yet still so beautiful. After the tours my friend Carol Vargo of Gray Antiques and Interiors hosted cocktails at the charming White Hart Inn in Salisbury. It was a cozy evening and the perfect way to wind down the day. My initial plan was to wear the Green Floral Emma or the White Eyelet Ava, however the rain had me in a dark navy mood so I chose the Navy Block Print Emma. Since it was a chilly spring day, I decided to later my Cream Fisherman Knit Crewneck and Navy Barbour Beadnell Jacket.

My photos are of Bunny Williams' home and garden, which left me feeling so inspired to start working on my own yard. It will never compare, however I can dream.

What I Wore: My Navy Barbour Beadnell Jacket (I purchase my Barbour Jackets at Cox the Saddler in the UK), Heidi Wynne Navy Block Print Emma Dress, Heidi Wynne Habitually Chic Cashmere Alexandra Wrap, Heidi Wynne Fisherman Knit Crewneck, Heidi Wynne French Market Tote (not in stock this year), Barbour Rain Boots, Gucci Lipstick.
