I attended the Devon Horse Show yesterday. It is the oldest and largest outdoor multi breed horse show in the Unites States with the first show being held during the summer of 1896. It has grown significantly since and is now also an outdoor fair. I regret not taking photos of the ferris wheel and of the vendors which included small businesses, many with equestrian themed clothing and accessories. The Devon Horse Show also has a strong charitable focus and has raised millions of dollars to benefit Bryn Mawr Hospital. Although it was threatening to rain, it ended up being a perfect day with sunshine, fresh air and beautiful horses.
