An Evening at Bovina Farm & Fermentory

An Evening at Bovina Farm & Fermentory

The highlight of my summer so far was a beautiful evening spent at Bovina Farm & Fermentory in the Catskills. It is such a charming place with sheep, ducks and chickens nestled in the hills of Bovina, New York. They host private dinners as well as summer feasts with a communal table which we enjoyed during our visit.

I was with friends from childhood so we were in our own world catching up and didn't get a chance to enjoy our neighbors as much as we would have liked. The other guests were friendly and the hosts could not have been any lovelier. They created such a beautiful experience and you can tell how much they truly care.

The entrance is to Bovina is a dirt path surrounded by wildflowers. There is no reception once you get closer to the farm which makes time slow down and you can enjoy being in the moment without the urge to urge your phone. This is something I've been working on in my personal life and it was nice to be forced to practice.

The sheep were so sweet and friendly.

I fell madly in love with these adorable ducks.

Everything was made fresh and was so delicious.

I loved the vintage plates.

The creamiest ice cream.

The entire evening felt like a dream and I enjoyed every second. If you make it to the Catskills, Bovina Farm & Fermentory should be at the top of your list to visit. I already can't wait for the next time!
