OUR TRIP TO PARIS
OUR TRIP TO PARIS
We enjoyed a few days in Paris at the end of July, and loved every single minute. A few highlights were dinner at Le Voltaire with my niece Michaela, running into Kelly Rutherford who was so sweet and reposted two of my posts to her IG stories, a visit to the Rodin Museum and Musee D'Orsay and shopping at Simrane, Ines de La Fressange, and Le Château de Ma Mère. My final day was spent in Montmartre before leaving for Ireland.
I loved all of the bicycles and scooters.
Such a fun city!
This is one of my favorite pics from the trip.
My friend Tina Bhojwani, cofounder of AERA New York, recommended Le Voltaire and it was a perfect choice.
With my niece Michaela at Le Voltaire. I'm wearing the Black Valerie Dress which is part of our Archive Sale.
The Rodin Museum must look even better on a sunny day, however I still think it is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Love this chandelier.
View from Musée d'Orsay.
My Greta Satchel and Navy & White Floral Emma Dress.
An antique drinking fountain.
The breakfast was the best part of my stay. So cozy with fresh bread, juice and coffee.
Le Château de Ma Mère was at the top of my list to visit so I was so pleased to find that it was just around the corner from the hotel. Such a charming shop and the saleswomen were so lovely.
Adore the bold colors and fun prints.
Instant mood lifter.
I love the eighties vibe of this little crochet bag.
Such a chic shop!
A trip to Paris would not be complete without a visit to Simrane.
I wanted one of everything.
My final day in Paris was spent in Montmartre where my niece and her boyfriend live. It is such a charming, historic town with so many quaint shops and cafes on narrow cobblestones streets that transport you to another era. Two of my drivers mentioned that it is their favorite neighborhood, and I was not disappointed!
I was told that Amelie was filmed here.
That concludes the Paris trip. With the exception of Le Voltaire, I didn't focus on dining because I was only in Paris for a limited time and often ate wherever was most convenient. I know many of you found me through Heather Clawson of Habitually Chic, and her Paris Guide is so comprehensive and has all of the best spots for dining and shopping, etc. I highly suggest purchasing it if you haven't already. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Paris and enjoying more of her recommendations.
Please stay tuned for our next Wynne's World post with our visit to Ireland!
