This week on Wynne's World, we are so thrilled to learn more about Lucille Befort, the talented founder of The French Vibes Club. We have admired Lucille's fabulous life in Paris on Instagram, and it is a pleasure to interview her and find out more about her holiday style and plans for the season.

Heidi: Thank you, Lucille, for this interview! I adore your style and love following along with your beautiful life in Paris. I've learned so much about French culture from your Instagram posts, and I also noticed that we have similar taste in film. Please tell us a little bit about yourself, and how you started The French Vibes Club

Lucille: Hello! I'm Lucille Befort, the founder of The French Vibes Club. I was born and raised in France, my journey took me to The American University of Paris, an international hub with students from all over the world.

With a background in crafting narratives and developing marketing strategies, I've had the opportunity to work with international organizations and luxury brands. Simultaneously, my creative endeavors led me to design jewelry, creating a unique intersection of my professional and artistic pursuits.

My time living in the U.S., bouncing between California and New York, exposed me to a vibrant international community of Francophiles. This immersion sparked the idea for The French Vibes Club—a community that celebrates all France has to offer.

It's a space where language, culture, and communication converge to build connections that transcend borders and boundaries. My goal is to celebrate the richness of French culture and create a meaningful community across the globe.

Heidi:  Where do you live and what is your favorite restaurant during the holiday
season?

Lucille: I currently live in the enchanting city of Paris, France. When it comes to holiday dining, I don't have a specific favorite restaurant; instead, I love exploring the various Christmas Markets scattered throughout the city. The one in the Tuileries Garden offers a diverse culinary delights, all within the festive ambiance that captures the holiday spirit. A word of advice, though – it's best to avoid weekends, as the bustling crowds can make the experience a bit overwhelming!

Heidi: What is your favorite Holiday film?

Lucille: "The Holiday" tops my list of favorite holiday films for its perfect blend of romance and humor. Beyond the festive charm, the film imparts valuable life lessons, I think it’s a classic and enjoyable watch every holiday season.

Heidi: Do you have any holiday travel plans?

Lucille: I'm heading to the French Alps to spend time with my family. I can’t wait to ski, indulge in comforting local cuisine, and long walks in the stunning nature with my dogs. It's a getaway I'm always looking forward to.

Heidi: What are you wearing this holiday season?

Lucille: This holiday season, comfort is my top priority—opting for fabrics that cocoon me in warmth. Ralph Lauren's timeless and elegant designs perfectly capture this cozy yet sophisticated vibe. For a more modern and minimalist touch in my day-to-day Parisian style, COS is my go-to. My ultimate accessory is the Heidi Wynne Cashmere Wrap, effortlessly blending warmth and elegance as my favorite scarf this season. And, not to be forgotten, my constant companion this season is the Max Mara Golden Teddy Bear Coat, bringing an extra layer of coziness.

Heidi: Could you please share your favorite holiday beauty products with us?

Lucille: I adore Clarins' Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster for Face. During winter, achieving a subtle tan is effortless with just two drops mixed with my moisturizer – it lasts for ages.

Another indispensable item in my daily routine is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Applied regularly, it provides my lips with nourishing hydration.

And finally, but most certainly not least, Jo Malone's Ginger Biscuit perfume has become my latest obsession. It captures the essence of a freshly baked cookie, blending ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon in perfect harmony, elevated by the warmth of tonka bean and vanilla. Truly irresistible, especially for those who, like me, appreciate sweet fragrances!

Heidi: Who is your fashion or beauty icon?

Lucille: I draw inspiration from many icons, but two figures who have significantly shaped my perspective are Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn. I love their embodiment of classy, elegant vibes. Brigitte Bardot's effortless and sensual style, paired with Audrey Hepburn's enduring grace and sophistication, resonate with my own aesthetic preferences. Their capacity to transcend trends and stand the test of time continues to inspire me.

Heidi:  What is meaningful in your life this holiday season?

Lucille: I find the holidays to be a perfect moment for personal reflection, a time when I can look back on the year and set goals for the upcoming one. It's also a good opportunity to bring my family together, creating special moments. As someone who doesn't consider themselves a great cook, I am also excited to make an effort and explore new recipes during this festive season!
