This week the designer shares her fall beauty essentials.
For fall skin care, nobody does it better than Tracie Martyn. It's one of few brands that are truly natural and have the ability to repair and transform the skin. The Enzyme Exfoliant is like an at home facial, and the Absolute Purity Toner and Firming Serum leave my skin glowing and refreshed.
After a summer of sunshine, saltwater and chlorine, my hair craves moisture. My new favorite hair product is Oribe Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream which protects from the heat and adds softness without weighing the hair down. For added volume I like Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray.  In addition to a homemade concoction of avocado, coconut oil, and egg yolk, I use a Kerastase mask to repair all of the summer damage. My current favorite is the Resistance Masque Therapiste.
I think fall is the ideal season for makeup because the humidity is lower so you can wear a little more without it melting off and you can experiment with darker colors. For eyes, I normally wear Cocoa Mirage by Tom Ford however for autumn evenings I've been using the darker Golden Mink Eyeshadow Quad. My friend Permele introduced me to this palette and the colors are deeper and richer with more intensity. Even during fall and winter I prefer a pale lip and have been wearing Pink Dusk by Tom Ford which is the perfect shade of pinkish nude. It has more color than most nudes so it doesn't wash you out. I always skip foundation and use Armani's Luminessence Color Control Bright Moisturizer which has SPF 35- so important.

My current favorite nail color for the hands is Deborah Lippman's Naked which is a perfect, soft nude. I have them top it off with Essie's Gel Setter Clear Gel Top Coat which makes my manicure last twice as long. I've been using Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream for years and it is truly a miracle worker for soft hands and strong nails. For toes I usually prefer a pale pink during the summer however for fall I go for a classic, dark red like Essie's Fishnet Stockings Nail Color.
